Tasty food with a homemade feel. I highly recommend their burgers! This place is able to make a perfect medium-rare burger. Their baked goods are just as delicious too. We tried the coffee cake which was fantastic! Next time I am driving up through the area, I surely will stop. Try them out!

This is your traditional American breakfast place. I enjoyed the pancakes very much, there were moist and cooked perfectly. Same with the eggs. No fancy coffee just straight coffee. Honest good service and a solid meal. Thank you.

Service was so slow for getting our food ordered to getting it out to us. Food was decent, kind of pricey. Only decent place in Lone Pine, pretty busy. Even had to bring the check to the counter ourselves to pay.

The omelettes were great. They had real fruit available, not the canned low quality. No espresso though.

I had the blueberry pancakes and I got a veggie wrap for lunch. Everything was awesome. Can't go wrong passing right by McDonald's and stopping in here.

I picked up a breakfast burrito on my way to French Camp last Thursday. I was eating it while driving so it was nice that they cut it in half and added salsa and some ketchup in the bag. I was thinking since the burrito was cut in half I would eat half of it and half for later but it was delicious. I think I woofed it all down before I got to Independence. Good stuff! Staff was great as well.

Awesome food, esp the beef dip sandwich. Nice folks, not really "fast" food.

Arrived on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at approximately 0744 hours. From our parking space to the front door it felt like a race with the other patrons trying to get inside. Seemed like a right pick at that point! As we entered, we realized how small the restaurant is with very limited seating for the obvious demand. We were directed to a table, provided menu's, and beverages quickly; after our beverages it was a long while until we were checked on, drinks at the table went dry. Once we placed our order, the food came out rather quickly, and was very good. We were there exactly 1 hour! This is undoubtedly a popular restaurant, be prepared for a bit of a wait time but worth it.

Really friendly people, courteous and quick service and delicious food. Very satisfied with my experience. The veggie melt is fantastic, very flavorful and great texture, with plenty of nice, generous slices of avocado. Will definitely stop here again if I'm passing through town.

Hiked Mt. Whitney and decided to pick up a breakfast burrito to go in the morning on the drive back which was amazing! Picked up a smorgasbord of cookies which were the best cookies my family had in years. Staff was super friendly and bathroom was spotless! A+ all around!

Amazing food. I went here the day after the 5.8 earthquake in lone pine 2020. Amazing quality of food and service. I had to come back with my wife and son to try it. I love the biscuits and gravy 😋 I was in a food coma after breakfast. Lol lovely place and I'm definitely going back for thirds.
